Pour sa 31ème édition, le festival "Les Boréales" en Normandie a mis à l'honneur l'Islande.
C'est dans ce contexte que s'est déroulée l'exposition "Islande architecture" à la Halle de Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer, ville partenaire du festival.
Cette exposition dont la problématique est de montrer la tension qu'il existe entre modification du paysage par l'homme et par la nature, est aussi une invitation au voyage et à la découverte de l'architecture islandaise.
7 œuvres en relief et 22 photographies sur aluminium DiBond s'articulent autour des thèmes suivants : fermes et habitats, églises et monuments, routes et ponts, usines géothermiques.
Un livre reprenant les visuels de l'exposition et apportant quelques clefs de lecture est disponible à la vente (contact par mail).
For its 31st edition, the festival “Les Boréales” in Normandy put Iceland in the spotlight. “Islande architecture” exhibition took place at the Halle of Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer, a partner city of the festival.
The aim of this exhibition is to show the tension that exists between modification of the landscape by man and by nature. It is also an invitation to travel and discover Icelandic architecture.
7 relief works and 22 photographs on DiBond aluminum are structured around the following themes: farms and habitats, churches and monuments, roads and bridges, geothermal plants. A book containing the visuals of the exhibition and providing some reading keys is available for sale (contact by email).
